lc_ls_cat_diag_cdn_man_act not working

Post by galen@24racing.net »

Hi all!

I've got my ZHP working pretty well with my m50 manifold.

- DISA removed (no DTC)
- SAP removed (no DTC and taken out via c_obd_state_2 parameter)
- Catalyst heating function disabled
- Catalyst equipped (so conf_cat = 2)
- All O2's working
- O2 threshold values adjusted to put operating values at dead center of the upper / lower limits for plausibility & readiness
- EVAP system in tact.

INPA shows my O2 values well within range and working properly. I have gotten EVAP & HTR monitors to set. CAY & O2 monitors stay not ready. In 400 miles of driving that's all I've managed.

***lc_ls_cat_diag_cdn_man_act does nothing for catalyst readiness when set to 1.*** I make sure to clear LV when flashing as well.

I'm pulling my hair out over here. Anyone have insight for why lc_ls_cat_diag_cdn_man_act isnt setting readiness?

----------------------------------------

Edit: I found a parameter, c_clc_ready_obd_1 (cal byte to force readiness to 0 without calculation). Seems promising but I haven't had luck.

OE hex number is 112, so binary = 1110000.
Tried the following with no change.

113 - 1110001 (last bit)
104 - 1101000 (3rd & 4th bit)
120 - 1111000 (4th bit only)
121 - 1111001 (4th and last bit)

------------------------------

Trying this and will report back.
124 - 1111101 (4th, 5th & 7th bit)

Re: Catalyst Monitor readiness not setting??

Gave up on messing with c_clc_ready_obd1.

Last entry to c_clc_ready_obd1

125 = 1111101
64 = 1000000

No effect noted.

So I messed with c_obd_state_2 instead. 101 = SAP delete

101 = 1100101
100 = 1100100

Drove the car for another drive cycle and got all but O2 to set.
