M50B28 Turbo 328 drift car

Post by Meilleur102 »

Hi guys!

I have a 1998 328i and the projet is to swap it turbo!!
So first off all here's the list of the parts Ill put on the car.

When the tune will be done Ill be glad to give to Jeff for aprobation to put it on the web site.

So M52B28 engine with a OBD1 conversion. (Ill do a HOW To for the obd1 convertion soon)
The convertion came from a 1995 325 so with the 413 Silver Label.
Ill delete the EWS of course.

1) Turbo T04E with a ar of 0.5 (I know it's a little bit small, but Ive got a good deal on it and it was making 350whp on a RB25 (Skyline L6 2.5L)
2) Top mount manifold with a External 38mm westgate
3) 630cc (60lbs) injectors
4) 540maf (Ill try what's the max boost we can blow thru this MAF) I want to boost max 10psi (engine stock)
5) FMIC off course
6) And at the end the Renovelo chip off course!!!
7) DIY manual boost controler
8) DIY engine monitoring (I'm currently working on a wideband, boost gauge, oil presure and knock sensor alert)

On the other side (Not engine performance)

1) 2 way diff with short ratio
2) Hydrolic E-Brake with a twin caliper setup (I'm currently working on the twin caliper braket)
3) Racing seat and seatbelt.

My goal around 275whp!!
Keep you in touch with photo and update soon!!

The previous owner buy a top mount manifold and weld a flange for bottom mount on it

So I need to remove that and do some work on the manifold!

I bought a old scrap bucket seat and redo all the fabric custom made just for me!!! 8-)
