Permitted and Prohibited Conduct

You may use Renovelo’s website for the sole purpose of sharing and exchanging ideas with other users. You may not use our website to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including without limitation any applicable laws relating to antitrust or other illegal trade or business practices, federal and state securities laws, regulations promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any rules of any national or other securities exchange, and any U.S. laws, rules, and regulations governing the export and re-export of commodities or technical data.

You may not upload or transmit any material that infringes or misappropriates any person’s copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret, or disclose via our website any information the disclosure of which would constitute a violation of any confidentiality obligations you may have.

You are expressly prohibited from compiling and using other users’ personal information, including addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses or other contact information that may appear on our website, for the purpose of creating or compiling marketing and/or mailing lists and from sending other users unsolicited marketing materials, whether by facsimile, email, or other technological means.

You also are expressly prohibited from distributing users’ personal information to third-party parties for marketing purposes. Renovelo shall deem the compiling of marketing and mailing lists using users’ personal information, the sending of unsolicited marketing materials to users, or the distribution of users’ personal information to third parties for marketing purposes as a material breach of these Terms and Conditions, and we reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of our website.

Renovelo notes that unauthorized use of users’ personal information in connection with unsolicited marketing correspondence also may constitute violations of various state and federal anti-spam statutes. We reserve the right to report the abuse of users’ personal information to the appropriate law enforcement and government authorities, and we will fully cooperate with any authorities investigating violations of these laws.

User Submitted Content

All material submitted to our website from other users does not reflect our views; and we do not have any obligation to monitor, edit, or review any user-submitted material on our website. Such material includes but is not limited to ideas, opinions, photographs, images, videos, messages, transmissions or material to us. We assume absolutely no responsibility or liability arising from the content of any such material nor for any error, defamation, slander, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy within such user-submitted material.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and otherwise hold harmless Renovelo, its officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and assigns from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions.

Termination

These terms and conditions are effective until terminated. Your rights under these terms and conditions will terminate automatically without notice from Renovelo if you fail to comply with any terms or conditions of this agreement. Upon the termination of this agreement, you shall cease use of all Renovelo products and destroy all copies of any Renovelo software.

Grant of License

By definition, the Renovelo Software consists of product documentation, tools and utilities, miscellaneous technical information, software programs and source code. Renovelo grants you the right to install and use the Renovelo Software or any portion thereof on a single computer. If you want to install the Renovelo Software on more than one computer, you must either erase the software from the first computer when you move the Renovelo Software to another computer, or else purchase another license. You may make one copy of the Renovelo Software in machine-readable form for backup purposes only; provided that the backup copy must include all copyright or other proprietary notices contained on the original. You own the media on which the Renovelo Software is recorded but Renovelo retains ownership of the Renovelo Software itself. The Renovelo Software is licensed to you, not sold. The rights granted under the terms of this license include any software updates that replace and/or supplement the original Renovelo Software product, unless such upgrade contains a separate license.

You may not modify, copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works of the Renovelo Software or any part thereof, except as and only to the extent expressly permitted in these terms and conditions or by applicable law. You may not rent, lease, lend or sublicense the Renovelo Software. You may, however, make a one-time and permanent transfer of all of your license rights to to another party, as long as:
• the product transfer must include all of the Renovelo Software, including all of its components, original media, printed materials and this license
• you do not retain any copies of the Renovelo Software, full or partial, including backup copies stored on a computer or other storage device
• the party receiving the Renovelo Software reads and agrees to accept the terms and conditions of this license.

Warranty Policy

ANY SOFTWARE PRODUCT FROM RENOVELO IS PROVIDED “AS-IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND ANY USE OF OUR SOFTWARE PRODUCTS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. RENOVELO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, WITH REGARD TO OUR SOFTWARE PRODUCTS. THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF USE OR PERFORMANCE OF OUR SOFTWARE PRODUCTS REMAINS WITH THE USER.

Renovelo warranties all hardware products against defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. For the warranty to apply, you must be the original purchaser and still own the vehicle on which the hardware product was installed. In addition, the warranty is not transferable.

The warranty does not apply to the hardware product if:
• it has been involved in an accident
• it was misused, abused, modified, used off-road or for racing purposes
• repairs have been made or attempted by anyone other than a Renovelo authorized facility
• repairs are required because of normal use
• it is classified as a consumable

Renovelo reserves the right to refund the complete purchase price for the defective hardware product and will not be held liable for losses or damages arising from the defect. Under the stipulations of this warranty, Renovelo will in no way be liable for exceeding the original purchase price of the defective product. The warranty does not cover the cost of removal or reinstallation of the warrantied product. If a single part or component from a Renovelo product is found to be defective, the warranty only applies to the defective part or component. All shipping costs back to Renovelo for warrantied parts shall be covered by the customer. Original shipping costs of the warrantied product are not refundable. Before shipping the defective product back to Renovelo, you must obtain an RMA number from us as detailed below in the Return Policy.

Pricing

Prices shown on the Renovelo website are displayed in US Dollars and are subject to change at our discretion. Unless otherwise stated, all prices posted are not final and do not include shipping charges. All purchases made from within the state of South Carolina are subject to state sales tax according to law.

Payment

The only accepted forms of payment are from PayPal and major credit cards, including, but not limited to, American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa.

Shipping

Most orders received will be shipped the day following the order date. Unless otherwise stated, shipping, handling, and insurance charges are added to the invoice and are the responsibility of the customer.

All shipments from Renovelo are covered by an appropriate amount of insurance. If the shipment appears damaged upon arrival, or if the product appears damaged after opening, contact Renovelo immediately and state all claims within three (3) business days of when the product was received. After three (3) business days, all claims for damaged or defective products will be refused. Renovelo must also be notified of the faulty part prior to installation or modification. Renovelo will contact the carrier and handle the damage claim. Once Renovelo has confirmed that the carrier is at fault for the damaged shipment or product, we will issue a prepaid shipping label to have the product sent back to us using the same carrier. Once Renovelo receives a claim credit from the carrier at fault, and the damaged product from you, we will ship a replacement product to you immediately.

Return Policy

ALL SOFTWARE SALES FROM RENOVELO ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON ANY SOFTWARE. IF A PACKAGE CONTAINING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE FROM RENOVELO IS RETURNED, ONLY THE HARDWARE CAN BE RETURNED. THE COST OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM ANY REFUND GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMER.

Regardless of the reason, before returning any products to Renovelo, you must obtain an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) number from us. Contact us directly to receive an RMA number. This RMA number must be written legibly in large block letters on the outside of the box or envelope upon return. If your RMA is not clearly marked on the outside of your package, your return will be refused and will be sent back to you.

If you ordered the wrong product or if you no longer want the product, the customer must contact Renovelo within thirty (30) days of receiving the product to request a refund or exchange. Any costs incurred by Renovelo for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from Renovelo, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit to which the customer is entitled. All products must be shipped back in whole to Renovelo in their original packaging. All shipping must be paid by the customer. No products will be accepted if they have been installed, modified, damaged, or are not in resalable condition. The customer will also incur a 20% restocking fee on any product that is returned for a refund.

If the wrong product was received and an order processing error was made by Renovelo, contact us immediately. Again, no products will be accepted if they have been installed, modified, damaged, or are not in resalable condition. Contact must be made with Renovelo within thirty (30) days of receiving the product to request a refund or exchange. The customer must obtain an approved RMA number and prepaid shipping label from Renovelo. Any costs incurred by Renovelo for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from Renovelo, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit to which the customer is entitled. The product must then be shipped back to Renovelo in whole in its original packaging. Once Renovelo receives the returned product, we will ship the correct product back to you. All return shipping costs will be handled by Renovelo. If the customer decides to receive a refund instead of an exchange, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

An RMA number issued by Renovelo is valid for only fifteen (15) days from the day that it was originally issued to the customer. All products returned to Renovelo must be shipping using a carrier that offers tracking services. If this fifteen (15) day limit is not respected, Renovelo reserves the right to refuse the return. If an RMA number has already expired, Renovelo will not issue a new RMA number for this product.

If Renovelo denies a return for whatever reason, no action can be taken against Renovelo as the customer has agreed to these terms at the time of purchase.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Renovelo may change its Terms & Conditions from time to time, and in Renovelo’s sole discretion. Renovelo encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Terms & Conditions. Your continued use of this site after any change in these conditions will constitute your acceptance of such change.
